Dear Friends
I have been practising performance art since 1993 and have since represented Finland at many international festivals, museums and galleries in almost 40 countries around the world. I have completely dedicated myself to this practice. 
In Finland, however, I remained a marginal artist, whose existence is known only to a small group of performance friends.
In my next performance I have decided to occupy this entire marginal area!
I plan to make a ten-day, 420-kilometre journey on foot, lugging my portable forest, a cart full of exotic potted plants. I plan to explore cycling and forest trails from Helsinki to Vaasa. 
I intend to start my journey in Helsinki on 15 August at 2.20 pm at the GAP ART SUMMIT art conference at Luckan Helsingfors. 
The destination is 24 August at the OFFSIDE #2 FESTIVAL in Vaasa, which kindly supports the project.
Friends from Vaasa have always supported me since the beginning of my emigration.
I will be traversing my margin through Hyvinkää, Riihimäki, Hämeennlinna, Valkeakoski, Tampere, Kurikka and so on. I welcome anyone who would like to accompany me on this journey with their favourite plants for a while!
This is of course an extremely challenging artistic experiment that may fail, but I refuse to take it into consideration.
